Natule’s story

Her mother left Natule after overdosing on drugs and was later taken away to jail for other offenses. Natule’s father also ran away and left her and her brother with their grandmother. The grandmother has done the best she could to care for the two children, but in her old age, she could not obtain employment and all she could do was look for food in the rubbish bins of Jinja town. Before joining the PFP family, Natule and her brother would go to town each day to beg for help from passersby.  She has never had the luxury of attending school but thanks to her sponsor, Natule will now have the chance.
