Lotuke’s Story:

Due to the instability, war and cattle rustling in the Moroto area, Lotuke’s young life was always very difficult. Both of her parents were killed in the fighting with the rebel army and as a result, Agnes was left a complete orphan and was brought to Jinja town to live with her aunt, Abra. Unfortunately Abra is also a very disadvantaged woman with no job or way to sustain herself. She has been unable to care for even her own children, so Lotuke has continued to suffer.  Before joining the PFP family, Lotuke had been living in the slums of Masese with no access to medical care, education, food or even clean drinking water. Now, thanks to her sponsors, Lotuke has a very bright future ahead of her.
