Little Bosco’s Story

Bosco was born in Masese (the slums outside of Jinja, Uganda). His father passed away from alcohol related complications (liver cancer) when Bosco was still very young.  Bosco has also lost three of his siblings-two from untreated illness and one from starvation. After the death of Bosco’s sister, his mother became suicidal and decided to abandon her remaining children. This was when Peace for Paul’s founder met Bosco and rescued him from this life. At the time he was rescued, Peace for Paul had not yet been formed and so Bosco was sent to live in a friend’s orphanage (Musana Children’s home). He lives there to this day but comes to the Peace for Paul home during holidays to be with the rest of his surviving family members.
