Lomilo’s story

Lomilo’s mother ran off after overdosing on drugs and was taken away to jail for other offenses. His father also ran away and left Lomilo to fend for himself along with his two other siblings and their grandmother. His grandmother has done the best she can to care for the three children, but in her old age, she could not obtain employment and all she could do was look for food in the rubbish bins of Jinja town. Before joining the PFP family, Lomilo and his sisters would go to town each day to beg for help from passersby.  None of the children have had the luxury of attending school but thanks to his sponsor, Lomilo will now have the chance.
